Our Kennel is nestled in the Pines in Central Wisconsin next to the
Mecan River Outfitters. Our German Wirehaired Pointers hunt,   track,
play and love treats. They are wonderfully affectionate
and lovable dogs. The GWP is eager to please,
loves to hunt and clown around! Did you know that in the early years in
Germany, the German Wirehaired Pointer
(originated from Deutsch Drahthaar also
Deutscher Drahthaariger Vorstehhund) was used in the circus
because they are so easily trained! Ancestors of the Wirehairs are :
Griffon, Stichelhaar, Pudelpointer and GermanShorthair.
The German Wirehairs are the most registered versatile
hunting dog in Germany. Wirehairs often provide entertainment
for the whole family and are great Companion dogs.
Our German Wirehairs are OFA certified.
We offer German Wirehair Stud Service
(Our Studs are AKC - DNA registered. )
We normally produce two-three litters of GWP a year,
occasionally we have a litter of Standard Wirehaired Dachshunds,
because we believe it is very important that our
German Wirehaired Pointer Puppies and Wirehaired Dachshund Puppies
become well socialized before being separated from their siblings
and move to a new loving home.
Our pups are in house raised and socialized with children!
